Activists from @fossilfreelondon are dragged out of the QEII Conference Centre after gatecrashed their 40th anniversary party. The activists are demanding the centre stops hosting events run by fossil fuel companies and arms dealers.  Initially gatecrashing the party taking place inside they returned to picket the main entrance before being moved on by the Met police.  Nine officers turned up in a ludicrous show of force to escort the ten peaceful protesters away from the entrance, showing just how important this venue is to the state.

Set in the heart of Westminster the QEII centre bills itself as a world leading conference centre.  It ne of biggest hosts many of fossil fuel companies and the arms trade in London.  Located in the heart of Westminster these events are where the lobbyists operate and where influence can be bought and sold.  Fossil Free London say these events need to be shut down to safeguard our future and the only way is to target the venues that host them.
