An emergency rally was held outside the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health demanding they make a statement condemning Israels violations of health workers and the action if the healthcare infrastructure in Gaza as a strategy of genocide.  They also demanded the RCPCH make a statement condemning the arbitrary detention of Dr Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, who has been subjected to torture and many other human rights abuses during his 18 month long detention.  Dr Abu Suffiya’s condition is critical and his life is in imminent danger.  The silence from the RCHP over the plight of one of their fellow paediatricians has been deafening.
